Every August, the scenic town of Casalattico comes alive with the sights, sounds, and tastes of Ireland. Perched in the pre-Apennine mountains, this charming Italian village with strong Irish ties hosts the annual Irish Fest, a vibrant celebration of shared heritage, music, and food.
A Legacy of Connection
Casalattico’s bond with Ireland runs deep. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, many residents emigrated to Ireland, creating a lasting cultural bridge. Today, thousands of Irish-Italians trace their roots back to this region.
The festival honours this legacy with traditional Irish music, dance, and cuisine. This year’s event kicked off on August 14th with a hearty Irish breakfast and live performances from Niall Fitzpatrick & Enda Byrne.

As long-standing supporters of Irish Fest, Kepak Foodservice was proud to once again serve up a taste of Ireland. This year, we showcased three standout products from our Big Al’s range, each bringing something unique to the table:
Big Al’s Prime Burger – A Classic Crowd-Pleaser
Crafted from 100% Irish beef, the Prime Burger was a festival favourite. Cooked to perfection and served with fresh toppings, it offered a deliciously familiar taste of home. Whether paired with a cold drink or enjoyed on its own, it was a hit with attendees of all ages.
Big Al’s Chicken Tenders – A Reliable Favourite for All Ages!
Our Chicken Tenders delivered on both crunch and flavour. Perfectly golden and tender inside, they were the ideal grab-and-go snack for festival-goers enjoying the festivities. Served with a selection of dips, they were a consistent favourite throughout the day.
Our New Big Al’s Hot ‘N Spicy Chicken Strips – Quality in Every Bite
New to the festival menu this year, the Hot ‘N Spicy Chicken Strips brought bold flavour and satisfying crunch. Made from 100% Chicken Breast, these strips are coated in a golden, spicy bread coating that delivers serious heat. Free from artificial colours and flavours, they added a fiery twist to the food lineup and quickly became a standout item at the festival.
We were also delighted to partner with Blenders Sauces to create a loaded fries option, topped with our Hot ‘N Spicy Chicken Strips and finished with their rich and creamy Garlic & Herb Sauce. This collaboration added an indulgent twist to the menu and proved to be a standout hit with the crowd.
