Worcester Cricket Club has recently launched a new branded food concept with Big Al’s. The Big Al’s Burger Bar is replacing a pop-up, unbranded kiosk, bringing with it delicious menu items and an eye-catching design to draw in the fans. John Crossley, Front of House Manager at Worcester Cricket Club, explains how well Big Al’s Burger Bar has been received with both staff and customers following a successful few matches:

“Before the install of the Big Al’s Burger Bar, fans were previously purchasing food from an unbranded kiosk serving predominantly burgers and chips. We were extremely impressed with the look and feel of the Burger Bar concept after the Big Al’s team presented it to us. It is a very attractive and high quality proposition that encompassed everything we needed to elevate our food offer. The prefabricated option was appealing and included seamless branding, where everything from the menu and packaging to marketing material and POS had been considered, and we could envisage the Big Al’s Burger Bar really looking the part at Worcester Cricket Club.

Approximately a month since the launch, we have had a very positive response and great feedback from both staff and customers. With Big Al’s menu items including a range of burgers (beef, cheese and cheese and bacon – and the popular burger meal which includes a choice of burger, chips and a drink), pizza twists, gourmet hot dogs, bacon baps and sides, there is something for everyone. The Big Al’s product range is quick and simple to prepare, allowing us to serve dishes to order and keep wastage to a minimum.

The launch of Big Al’s Burger Bar has definitely added noticeable value to the catering at Worcester Cricket Club and we are excited to continue working with the Big Al’s team to further advance the club’s food offer.”
