Golden Gate Holiday Centre is a popular caravan park based in Wales, UK. In 2018, Big Al’s worked with the catering team at the Golden Gate Holiday Centre to refresh their food offering in the park’s all-new clubhouse. The Golden Gate team needed our help with expanding the product range and revamping the dining area.
Martin Gibbon, Catering Manager at Golden Gate Holiday Centre, explains the rationale behind the decision to install the Big Al’s Foodies concept and the extremely well-received transition to Big Al’s Foodservice Solutions:
“In order to update the catering facilities at Golden Gate Holiday Centre, we made a decision to implement effective branding to help sell the new food on offer. The Big Al’s team completely understood our needs for the park and between us we chose the Foodies concept to be installed, as it best suited our requirements.
After having worked with Big Al’s products previously, the decision was easy. The team and I at Golden Gate Holiday Centre were already very impressed with the simplicity and speed at which we could serve dishes. With the convenience of cooking the products and not much prep time needed, we can ensure customers will be tucking into their delicious meal in a matter of minutes. On offer are Big Al’s 6oz Beef Burgers, Gourmet Hot Dogs and Sausage Patties – all of which are extremely popular!
As part of the concept package, we have had so much support from Big Al’s, not only with choosing from the product portfolio, but also professional POS and marketing materials – something we formerly struggled with.
The ultimate aim of the concept install was to provide customers with good-looking food that tastes great, and is also quick and simple for the catering team to serve. The team at Big Al’s made the process exceptionally simple and really went above and beyond to help us develop exactly what we were looking for.”
