Every August, the pre-Apennine town of Casalattico comes alive for Irish Fest, and this year will be marked by a special milestone: the festival’s 20th anniversary. Big Al’s is once again proud to be part of it
A Festival Built on Real Roots
Casalattico’s connection to Ireland isn’t just a theme for the weekend, it’s history. Back in the late 1800s and early 1900s, waves of locals emigrated to Ireland, and generations later, thousands of Irish-Italians still trace their family names back to this small mountain town. For 20 years, Irish Fest has celebrated exactly that bond, bringing Irish music, dance, and food to a community that’s never really let go of it.
This year’s festival takes place on 14th August, and we can’t wait to be there.
What We’re Bringing This Year
To mark 20 years of Irish Fest, we’re bringing a full line-up from the Big Al’s range:
Big Al’s Prime Burger: A burger, packed full of 100% Prime Irish Beef, grass-fed and sourced from farmers we know and trust. Ground fresh using chuck and brisket, and seasoned with smoked sea salt, it delivers tender, juicy, flavour-packed bites all day long.
Big Al’s Hot ‘N Spicy Chicken Strips: Made from 100% chicken inner breast fillet with a crunchy, chilli-spiced coating, these strips bring serious crunch and bold heat to the menu.
Big Al’s Pork Hot Dog: An American classic made with 100% Irish Pork, fully cooked and skinless, delivering a meaty texture. Served pre-loaded with crispy onions, ketchup, and mustard, they’re sure to go down a treat.
Big Al’s Chicken Tenders: Made from 100% juicy, tender chicken breast wrapped in a light, flavourful coating, the tenders are set to be a hit as both a snack and a side.
